Dear Friends,
Thank you for your interest in The Salvation Army. This website has been created with the intent of providing information about the various programs offered by The Salvation Army in our community.
We want to let you know how important it is for The Army to serve God and man through works aimed at the physical and spiritual needs of all.
We hope this website will show the mission of The Salvation Army and how our hand of ministry is extended to our fellow man. At the City Command Koch Center, programs are offered such as foster care, youth residential services, emergency social services, homeless services and disaster services.
The Army in Wichita also has two Corps Community Centers providing regular weekly church services and other programs offered to the local community. The Garvey Sports Center houses our Biddy Basketball program. The Hiawatha campus provides various programming for the whole family and has wonderful facilities available for rental for your church or business group.
Through the support of a generous community, The Salvation Army in Wichita continues to abide by our motto of “Heart to God and Hand to Man”. Thank you for helping us to help others.
God Bless!
Sincerely, |
